Choosing the Right Flag Provider

Being Flag manufacturers for over 30 years means we know a thing or two about producing external branding for any location. Often thought of as a simple process, producing flags is a complex method involving a skilled production team and intelligent printing and finishing equipment. Read on to find out more.

Durability

Custom Flags in any shape or size can be used as an effective advertising tool for a range of events. Although they can be placed within indoor locations, they are commonly used outdoors to reinforce subtle brand awareness and advertise messages. This means your flags should be printed using a durable weatherproof material that remains vibrant and intact for the suggested longevity.

Knitted Polyester is a great flag material that produces bright vibrant colours and is suitable for the blustery UK weather. Of course, after long periods of time, any material will fray under bad weather conditions however an anti-fray netting can be sewn onto the fabric to increase its durability.

Showthrough

The dye sublimation print process is ideal to create lasting vibrancy and brightness. This unique and complex printing technique is often underrated. Using a specialist absorption process, it forces the ink to absorb into the fabric whilst being printed. It then goes through an clever calendaring heat process that creates a chemical reaction between the inks and the fabric, producing a bold and vibrant finish.

During this multipart process, if opting for a single sided flag, the colours on the front should be nearly identical to the reverse of the fabric, creating excellent show through. Using one manufacturer for our print equipment, inks and software allows our printers to produce the best results using a three-component seamless integration.
